Papua New Guinea Human Resource Institute (PNGHRI) is Papua New Guinea’s lead HR professional body with about 1000 members and 100 corporate members. PNGHRI has been incorporated in 1997 under the country’s Association Incorporation Act, but was in existence since 1957 as the Society of HR Professionals. PNGHRI as a lead HR non government, independent organisation in the country, is actively involved in the following activities

• Bridging programs for Bachelors’ Degree in HRM
• Mentorship and job assistance to 40-60 graduates with 90% placement success
• Professional development programs for professionals and graduates
• Monthly professional seminars and updates on topical issues
• Active support of four student chapters
• Active Branch in Lae the Industrial Capital of the Country
